JF has hosted or contributed to a wide array of news & entertainment programming.

As a political comedian, he’s been a commentator CNN, FOX News, CNBC, Air America Radio, FOX radio, and is a regular on Progressive Talk’s ‘The Stephanie Miller Show.’

He’s hosted “Paul McCartney’s Live Town Hall” and “George Harrison: The Last Performance” for VH1; “America’s Funniest Home Videos” (with Daisy Fuentes) and “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” for ABC.

JF was one of the youngest regulars on ‘Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher,’ appearing over 20 times and debating such figures as Rev. Jerry Falwell, Ralph Nader, Arianna Huffington, and, most infamously, David Duke.

He honed his on-camera skills at VH1, hosting a variety of specials and interviewing such prominent music figures as Bruce Springsteen,  Willie Nelson,  James Taylor, Tony Bennett, Joey Ramone,  Garth Brooks, Fleetwood Mac, Robbie Robertson, Pete Townshend, & Yoko Ono.   His most memorable experience came when a planned 10 minute interview with George Harrison and Ravi Shankar stretched to a 4 hour appearance.  At one point, George picked up an in-studio guitar and taking requests on camera.  This was to be George’s last time playing on camera and was subsequently re-broadcast as “George Harrison: The Last Performance.”

He was seen in the role of ’sidekick’ on the selectively under-viewed CNBC talk show ‘McEnroe,’ hosted ‘The World Series of Blackjack’ for GSN, and hosted ‘The Watercooler’ on TVGN with Emmy Winner Teresa Strasser and Debra Wilson of “MAD TV” fame.

Other credits include ‘TV 411′ for PBS  & ‘ACLU Freedom Files’ for Court TV.  He was a regular commentator on CNBC’s ‘Bullseye’ opposite Dylan Ratigan, and has hosted pilots for CNN and ABC News.  He dipped his toe into both daytime and late night hosting for NBC, working stints on ‘Real Life’ and ‘Later.’

Across the pond, JF co-created and hosted 2 highly rated programmes for VH1 UK, ‘American Classic’ and the sketch/talk show ‘Hey Watch This.’
