JF’s recent solo show ALL THE WRONG REASONS was workshopped during an artist residency at Dartmouth University. ATWR opened Off-Broadway at New York Theatre Workshop in 2007 and was nominated for the Drama League’s ‘Distinguished Performance Award.’ Subsequent runs have included LA’s Brentwood Theatre, Seattle’s ACT, Miami’s Colony Theatre, and New Mexico’s Revolutions International Theatre Festival.
Film & TV includes: Coyote Ugly; Somewhere in the City; “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation;” “Providence;” “Becker;” ”The Michael Richards Show;” ”Beyond Belief;” Lifetime’s “Two Cups of Joe;” Also, US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen and the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal.
He received the award for Outstanding NYC Monologist at Lincoln Center form the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs. Other awards include NY Cabaret Debut (also MAC) & Comedian of the Year (Backstage).
John studied at Circle in the Square Theatre School, New York University and the Boston University Theatre Institute. He will be seen later this year playing two roles opposite Eric Roberts and Elisabeth Rohm in The Whole Truth.
